Amendment to Chapter 11 of the City Code Regarding Height Regulations
In Section 11.24, Subd. 5(C) High Density Residential Zoning District (R-4)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council for the City of Golden Valley, Hennepin County, Minnesota, will meet at the Golden Valley City Hall, Council Chambers, 7800 Golden Valley Road, on Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at 7 pm, and will then and there hold a public hearing to consider amending Section 11.24 High Density Residential Zoning District (R-4), Subdivision 5(C) to allow principal structures in excess of five stories or sixty feet in height with a Conditional Use Permit. The current regulations allow principal structures to be eight stories or ninety-six feet in height with a Conditional Use Permit.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council for the City of Golden Valley, Hennepin County, Minnesota will meet at the Golden Valley City Hall, 7800 Golden Valley Road, Golden Valley, Minnesota, Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at 7 pm, and will then and there hold a public hearing to consider a subdivision request by North Wirth Associates (Mortenson). The lot consolidation would remove an existing property line between two lots, thereby changing the legal description to one lot.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council for the City of Golden Valley, Hennepin County, Minnesota will meet at the Golden Valley City Hall, Council Chambers, 7800 Golden Valley Road, Golden Valley, Minnesota, on Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at 7 pm, and will then and there hold a public hearing to consider a subdivision request by Matt Pavek, Golden Valley Land Co. The subdivision would create two new lots for the construction of two new homes. (The existing home will be removed.)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Golden Valley, Hennepin County, Minnesota, will meet on Tuesday, August 17, 2010 and Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at 7:00 pm at the Golden Valley City Hall, 7800 Golden Valley Road, in said City for the purpose of holding a public hearing to consider an ordinance requiring an electric franchise fee from Northern States Power, d/b/a Xcel Energy, for providing electric service within the City of Golden Valley.
